As We are all aware, times are tough, money is short & we have all had to make certain cut backs to our lifestyles.
However, 1 area that you should be very careful of is cutting back on the maintenance of your vehicle. Over the past year the phone calls that i have been recieving have been moving away from ” can i book my car in for it’s annual service” to the more alarming, ” My car won’t start, i have not had it serviced for ages as it was running fine but now the car just won’t go” or i have even had ” my car was diagnosed as needing a water pump, i didn’t want to spend the money at the time, so i did not have it done, last night it overheated & now she won’t run”
It is very simple to put off any repairs or servicing of the car, i have even done it in the past myself, but i must stress to you that putting these jobs off now could lead to a far more expensive repair bill in months to come.
If you really cannot afford to have the car serviced then i would strongly suggest that you have a General Vehicle Inspection carried out, this way any issues may be identified before causing vehicle failure.
